BENELUX PRESS OFFICE July 01, 2009 – With the release of ArmA 2 and the officially announced termination of further ORC campaign operations under the ArmA 1 platform, ORC will be revamping and reorganizing our team setups and members to bring a fresh new level of fun and unique military simulation to future operations and campaigns.
The goal of the changes, some larger than others, will generally speaking be to try and streamline individuals and get back to the roots of what makes this mature community a great and above all fun place to participate and contribute towards. We will strive to reinvigorate and build the most personalized and tightly knit unit of professionals and friends ORC has ever had amongst its esteemed member ranks and make sure everyone is in a position they are comfortable with and more importantly they want to be in.
In line with the whole change of attitude, after almost three years now, ORC is proud to announce the retirement of the “SFOD” branded and inspired detachment for a more unique, flexible and interesting “PMC” style team of specialists and operators. We will build off the years of experience of “SFOD” and keep only the best and fix the rest. This will mean the opportunity for a new fresh clean slate for all our existing members and a chance to redefine yourself within the group. This new and unique team style and structure will also invariably open up many new and exciting possibilities and roles that we will be able to simulate under future ORC campaigns and operations.
More information and announcements will follow in the coming days and weeks as things settle into place and more work is done behind the scenes. So stay tuned to the site and The Press Box in the forums to gain more information on public developments. All existing members are naturally expected to keep up activity levels and keep your fellow members informed and apprised of your situation and schedules through TS and the forums. Remember these changes are to stimulate and encourage MORE fun and professional multiplayer gaming time under ArmA 2 with your fellow ORC members and not the opposite.

SUBJECT: ORC CAMPAIGN 3 UPDATE PRESS RELEASE
TO: SECURITY LEVEL - A1 - CONFIDENTIAL
*********************************************************************************
BENELUX PRESS OFFICE, March 25, 2009 - Phase 1 of Campaign 3 is slowly winding down in the coming weeks with a couple more missions to execute and SFOD and OCRD are both gaining momentum and achieving operations to take strong and dedicated teams into Campaign 3 Phase 2 missions and beyond.
There have been many additions to the teams since the start of the new year and the core rosters are well positioned to carry on growth and development. New team structures are also expected to be evaluated and implemented in the coming weeks in order to aid in the solidification of this objective and each detachment's overall organization and operational capacity. Some member cuts will also be looked at extensively to weed out any non committed team members.
Recent C3 special operations such as M3 Code Black Alpha, engaged in by the SFOD/OCRD detachments have provided successful outcomes with minimum blow back to future operations.
Stay tuned to the press box forum section for mission specifics and information/media related to upcoming Campaign 3 operations.
